Location and staff were fantastic.

I had a Budget single room which was small but very clean. Bathroom was private but was on a floor below my bedroom but you get what you pay for. All the other rooms looked great

Super service

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is among the best in the area, a private and clean beach strip. The staff is always available and very helpful in any matter. A few minutes walk from the center of the beach.

There are several things that can really improve your stay. The first thing is to provide a mop and a broom for each room. You are in a constant ritual of sweeping sand from the room. Another thing is to try to improve the flow of water in the taps.

Super Meerblick. Direkte Strarndlage. Geräumige zweckmäßige Zimmer, Bad und Balkon. Alles super sauber. Vom Balkon aus haben wir Affen gesehen. Lage super. Tolle Cafés und Restaurants in der Nähe. Besitzer freundlich.

Die Zimmer, v.a. das Bad benötigen eine Auffrischung. Der Spiegel war alt und blind die Klobriile und Deckel unschön verfärbt. Im Bad gibt es keine Ablage. Es wird beim Duschen alles nass und es gibt weder Fußmatte noch Wischer. Es gibt keine Bügel und nicht einmal eine Aufhängung auf dem Balkon für die Strandtücherund Badehosen. Mit einem Miniaufwand könnte man den Aufenthalt so viel angenehmer gestalten..

I initially booked for 2 nights and then ended up staying for a week. Hassan was a fantastic host and was able to help with travel arrangements and plans. My room was comfortable and had a view of the beach from my balcony (the beach was about 15m away as the hotel is right on the beach). It's located far enough away from the point and busy end of town that it's nice and quiet at night but only about 15 minutes walk down the beach or main road to all busier bars. I would happily come back and stay here again for an extended stay. Compared with other places I stayed in Arugam Bay my room here was larger and to a much higher standard.
