SIlvas Surf Home

The place is very nice, 2 minutes walking distance to the beach. Breakfast was also great and the whole family are very welcome and caring.

We stayed at Silvas’s place for 8 days with my 9 year old daughter. The place is great: quite, good room with AC and fan, good pillows, always available hot water. Our room had an access to the kitchen with fridge which was useful. Very good location: no more then 10 min to the beach where we took surf lessons and Fish point with fresh prawns and fish, 2 min to the several banks, 7 min to the bus and train stations and Cargill food store. There is adorable inner area at Silva’s place, where you can relax or work) My daughter spent a lot of time there. Good breakfasts and coffee. Silva and his wife are very friendly, helped us with all the questions including transfer to our next stop. We felt safe and good, like at home! Thank you, Silva😊

The owner , Mr. Silva was very helpful. We booked very last minute but he accommodated us promptly. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good, and was made available according to our convenient time. My phone broke down and Mr. Silva helped me a lot to try to revive it. He also gave great advice about surfing schools and restaurants around.

Silvas and his wife were so lovely and welcoming and also very helpful with any questions we had. We asked for a Sri Lankan breakfast and they fed us very well, it was so delicious, highly recommend asking for it! The room was cool thanks to the ceiling fan and super clean! There is a nice outdoor area to hang out too! We will definitely be back to stay again 😁

Very polite owner of the house, we really liked this place. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a private garden and kitchen. We also like the breakfast prepared by the hotel family. Great surf spot and beach nearby it’s about 7 minutes from the hotel. We’ll come here again.

Silva was such a great host, he made sure we had everything we needed during the entire stay and even recommended a place to rent a bike nearby. The breakfast was great, and he would even wake us up in the morning when it was ready! He also let us have late check out at no extra charge. The AC was great, and had a nice warm shower. We shared a small kitchen area with another room so had fridge access which was very helpful.

Location is about an 8 minute walk from town (which was perfect for us) but maybe something to consider!

Silva and his family are super welcoming and silva has introduced us to sri lanka and we had some great conversations about the country and a lot more. Silva also helped us with planning our trip. We had a wonderful time there and location allowed us to explore the surroundings in the best manner. Breakfast is amazing and extremely delicious

If you're suffering from the heat like me, consider the no ac. The fan works perfectly fine but during prime heat for some an ac is a must.

Staying at Silva's was an absolute delight! Silva and his wife are fantastic hosts, going out of their way to help whenever they could. The room was spotless and comfy and felt like staying in someone's home rather than in a hotel. Brekkie was fabulous also. We are travelling with bikes and Silva has kindly allowed us to store our bike boxes for a couple of months while we are travelling - so kind and generous. The garden is a gorgeous place to relax and the beach a short walk away. We have already booked another stay!
