Ich kann mich meinen Vorredner nur anschließen. Diese Unterkunft bietet ein Naturerlebnis (ob positiv oder negativ muss jeder für sich entscheiden). Jedenfalls findet man Frösche, gekos und auch Kakerlaken in der Nacht in seinem Zimmer. Man schläft halt in der Natur und das muss einen bewusst sein. Daniel der neue Mitarbeiter, ist sehr freundlich und hilfbereit. Preis Leistung war dieses Zimmer top.

Die artgerechte Tierhaltung und der Umgang mit dem Personal ist etwas verbesserungswürdig. Etwas mehr Licht im Zimmer wäre schön.

Location davvero carina e sorprendente

Location carina in piena campagna è davvero surreale. Peccato per lo staff davvero carino all’inizio ma che dopo averci rifilato una mega truffa con il Safari a noi e una famiglia Tedesca volevano pagassimo per intero il biglietto del Safari Yala blocco 5 come se fosse il blocco 1. Anche su internet è specificato che il 5 è ufficialmente una truffa. Il proprietario di era negato al momento del check out dicendo che era andato al paese, quando stava riccamente dormendo nella struttura evitando ogni confronto ed é uscito allo scoperto solo quando ha sentito che non volevamo pagare per il Safari. La camera, decisamente sporca con cacche di geco sopra al muro della doccia che non venivano pulite da chissà quanto. Cacche intorno al letto. E il problema non è perché siamo in campagna e dagli scarichi uscivano le rane, il problema è che quelle cacche di geco erano lì da settimane! Vetro doccia e specchio sporchi mai pulito. Adoro la campagna e non ho problemi ad avere gechi e ranocchie, ma la pulizia é un altra cosa. Abbiamo chiesto il cambio stanza, ci hanno detto che non era possibile considerato che gli ospiti erano tutti arrivati, anche qui bugia considerato che una coppia è arrivata durante il dopo cena.

Staying at Fernando’s place is truly a unique experience. You get to stay basically next to Yala National Park and only a 15 minutes walk to Kataragama beautiful temples. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, we woke up to the rooster singing at 4 am and monkeys walking up and down the roof of our room... Which was great, honestly, and we still slept like babies! If you love animals, connecting with other travellers and don’t mind spending a few days literally immersed in nature, this is the place for you :-) Bonus points for Saman, who welcomed us so warmly and treated us with so much kindness, making the stay 100% better! Looking forward to staying here again! p.s. I’m terrified of frogs and there are many, in the rooms as well, but guess what... I survived and now I’m a bit less scared of them😁

De locatie was prachtig, alles was uit steen gehouwen. Er is veel zorg en aandacht aan besteed. Prachtige huisjes met unieke elementen. Alle dieren (twee dierenartsen en kinderen die dol zijn op dieren) maakte het echt een geweldige plek. Samman deed echt zijn best je thuis te laten voelen met zijn enthousiasme, dansjes en zorg voor de kinderen en dieren.

Eigenaar zelf was iets nors en minder betrokken, maar dit kwam o.a. door miscommunicatie over de jam sessie die abrupt werd gestopt.

My stay here was extremely disappointing. The room was infested with bed bugs, after just one night I ended up covered in hundreds of bites (over 300). Since then I’ve had to take antihistamines daily to deal with the inflammation, and it has ruined the rest of my trip. When I reached out to the owner, there was no apology or offer of compensation, which I found very unprofessional. I understand bed bugs can occur even in clean places, but the lack of responsibility and care is unacceptable. I would not want anyone else to go through this experience.
