My Home Resort

The hosts were very friendly and went out of the way to make us comfortable. They were very helpful in assisting us in planing our local activities including airport pickup, drop, visit to Marissa and Galle. Apart from the option of dining at my home resort, there are many good restaurants nearby. The beach is close by and you can snorkel with turtles. There is a river safari within 15-20 min by tuk tuk where we saw crocodiles , monkeys and many birds… We felt at home and the hospitality was commendable. Highly recommended and we would love to visit again, hopefully soon.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, it’s in a great location to the beach and restaurants. It has a really homely feel to place. Highly recommend

Lise and Yan greeted us like old friends. What a wonderful place to stay. The view from the balcony was really relaxing. Could sit out at tree top level with all the bird life. The food that Lise cooks in the roof top restaurant is incredible and authentic Italian. We stayed for 5 nights and ate there every night because it was so delicious. Its situated in a really good area close to the beach and other places to eat and drink if wanted to. We saw lots of turtles and had a wonderful time. Thank you so much. Darren and Joy.

There is no aircon. We upgraded because some rooms haven't got hot water but to be fair i didnt need a red hot shower and just used the normal shower.

lovely room with seating outside. super clean and cosy. Lisa organised us a scooter for when we arrived and cooked us a beautiful Italian meal at her rooftop restaurant.

the shower has no hot water which wasn’t a problem during the day but was more at night.

Our hosts were really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, well equipped and smelt lovely and fresh. It is in a great location for nightlife, but still nice and peaceful. I could happily have spent a few more days there.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED We had a wonderful time at my home guesthouse. Just off the beach. The room was lovely and clean with many extra touches which made the stay very comfortable (mini fridge and huge beach towels. Bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletry...) The balcony was very private and a nice place to chill whilst the rooftop terrace and restaurant is the place to be to enjoy authentic handmade Italian food by Lisa who is a maestro in the kitchen! And best of all was the warm welcome of Yann (french) and Lisa (italian) who gave us all the tips on the best spots and activities around. Away from the busiest tourist spots, we swam with wild turtles and go on river safaris to see the crocodiles without the exploitation of animals which can be seen in other beaches. Yann and Lisa made us feel like visiting friends. We will be back!
