Great location just next to the beach. Very helpful personnel! The owner took extra care for our TukTuk and gave helpful hints about our trip through Sri Lanka.

"Exceptional"

The guesthouse is close to beach and city. The best thing was the friendly hosts. It is a family who runs the guesthouse and you will feel very welcomed. Anything you need they will help you with that. Marshall who owns the hostel is a very friendly, kind and sincere man. I would definetely recommend this place. The price is very affordable.

Very friendly host who speaks English and german fluently. Can help with anything and was very attentive. Breakfast was delicious. I did not try lunch and dinner but it looked also delicious!

"Good place for friendship’s"

The place is probably one of the best in Negombo for the value. The staff and especially the owner Marshal is exceptional with outstanding service . I stayed here for 4 days and Marshal was going to Kandy…. So he asked me to join him on his motorcycle. That was quite an experience, for 3 days we went to his other places Retivagama Eco Resort in Knuckles Forest Reserve. And to his place in Kandy ( Kandy Nature Resort ) He even took me home to visit some of his family near Kandy…. Amazing to meet a man like Marshal. …. It’s not all about money, because it’s coming from his heart.

"great stay in Negombo"

We loved staying at Marshal Beach Guesthouse... it has a nice relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Marshal was super friendly and helpful...always onhand for a chat and to share his wealth of information about places to go and things to do on your visit to Sri Lanka... he made us feel very welcome! The food was awesome and we were able to use the kitchen if wanted to cook or make a cup of tea. The location is great... its handy for the airport and there are a few restaurants nearby but best of all its only metres to the beach! Its a nice quiet area so we got a great sleep. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next visit to Negombo. Thanks Marshal and your lovely team.
