AUMahee House is located right next to the fishing port and beautiful Blues Beach. Maheesha (the owner) was a delight. So helpful and kind. We got to experience how a Sr Lankan family live and work. Great value and her breakfast wa delicious! The dog chorus at night is extremely entertaining!

DEThe accommodation is a bit outside of Hiriketiya, approx a 10 minutes walk, so it's more quiet there. It's really close to the blue beach which is great. You have to book a massage there, we really enjoyed that.
DELocation was amazing. The room was very clean and the host very nice and friendly. Felt like home. Also the host is a masseuse and she give very good massages.

The location. You can walk to Hiriketya but you are more likely to get a tuk tuk. That being said, it is very close to Blue Beach
FIWe booked double room with a/c. Room was super clean and spacious. Also the water pressure in the shower was great, which you can't take for granted in Sri Lanka. The owner lady was super nice and cooked great food for affordable price. Also she gives good massage, so I advice everyone to try it. Good wifi.
Location is near to Blue Beach, but otherwise there is nothing in close distance. I advice to rent a motorbike, because tuk tuk drivers ask quite high price, because place is quite remote, so you end up paying easily more than daily moto rent price during a one day just for going couple times to Hiri or nearby town. There are no restaurants near by. But on the other hand, room price is cheap, so you'll save money for other things.
AULocation is close to blue beach, it's in a lovely local area full of very friendly people. It is a 25 minute walk to hiriketiya town, so if you're looking to be close to town it's probably not for you. However almost every time I walked into town, a local charitable person gave me a lift. If you have a scooter it's no issue. Staff are lovely and friendly, they also do massage there.
SEThe location is quiet and close to Blue beach which turned out to be my favorite as well! Had AC in the room and it was really clean. Mahee makes great food but also a lot of options in the area. If you want more hustle and even more option Hirikyteia beach is a 20 min walk

BEAmazing. The room is so beautiful with Ac, hot shower, kitchen. The best room i ve in Sri lanka with kitchen, balcon with the view on the sea and fishing boats. Really really clean. Super confortable bed. The host are family and make u feel at home. The food is also super tasty. Amazing massage also available. Thank u to all the family. Hope to come back.
