**Attention before booking this accommodation!!!** First, I want to say that the accommodation is clean and very affordable compared to other places in Seoul. However, you should definitely avoid booking if you need peace and quiet. The hosts live directly above you, and there are children and other family members there. There is running and banging from 7 AM to 11 PM, making it impossible to rest or work with concentration. I asked twice for consideration, but the reaction was a worsening of the situation, so I was forced to change accommodations. If you book this accommodation, be prepared not to find any peace. (Although there were four rooms available, I was "asked" or rather thrown out despite asking to keep my belongings there for a while, as my new place had a later check-in time. Nevertheless, I was kicked out.) All in all, my stay here only drained my nerves and energy. Thanks for nothing.

Staff - The owner is friendly and check-in/out was easy. It seems like she stays on the 3rd floor and the rooms are all on 2nd floor so to check-in you just knock on her door and she'll show you around the place. Facilities - I chose the place because I booked it about a week before my stay and it was reasonably cheap and highly rated. The house is big and you can use the kitchen but I think the location is not too central that's why not a lot of people stay here so I liked the feeling that it's like I'm coming back to own place cos I hardly see anyone in the house (except for 1 roommate). Some things that you should know though - it surprised me that the 4-bed mixed dorm room isn't really a room but it's just a space in the hall that's carved out by putting room dividers and there aren't any lockers. There aren't any curtains at your bed and also there is no individual charging point at your bed (but there is a central area in the room to charge your stuff). Also, not sure if the air-con was spoilt but we were provided with fans. It seems like there's only 1 toilet in the apartment. These weren't major issues for me esp. when there was only 1 other person in the "room" at any point. Cleanliness - the apartment, "room", and toilet were all immaculately clean. Comfort - the bed was very comfortable but it's hard to sleep till late cos the sun rises early at this time of the year so the "room" is very bright by about 6am. Also, sometimes people talk loudly in the street late at night / early in the morning. Location - it's about 10 minutes walk to the subway/train station (Cheongnyangni) but although there are a few lines, I've only taken Gyeongui-Jungang line cos that seems to be the one that gives you access to the commonly visited places and the waiting time for the train can be 15 minutes later at night.

I've raised some issues above but I'm not sure they are easy to address and also some people may be ok with the issues I raised. :)

I stayed at Kory's house for a week, in the private room. My stay was very comfortable and pleasant and the owner is very kind and helpful. Everything is very clean and during my stay it was very quiet. The subway and bus stops are relatively close and you can get to the center of Seoul without much trouble. From the main street it is also easy to take a taxi or uber if needed. There are also restaurants and stores nearby. To go to the airport you can take a direct bus which is about 6 minutes walk.

It is not very important, but if you are used to sleeping in total darkness, the curtains in the room don´t block the light, although this can be solved with a sleeping mask.

Misun was a fantasic host and very acommodating to our needs - including a requested late checkin as well as any other information or help required as we weren't familair with the culture/public service system in Seoul. The location is a little out of the City centre, but very easy to get to via the Number 1 line from Cheonyangni station neareby.

Really friendly host, she made me feel welcome from the start. She kept the place clean really well. The location is good, close to the metro. So nice that there was no up-charge for towels. The kitchen was perfect, enough pans to cook and a nice big fridge. Relaxed neighbourhood which is nice to walk around, supermarkets are nearby and a convenience store is only 1 block away.

The bed was okay but I could sometimes feel the springs, it could have been a little bit more comfortable. I also didn't like the shower situation. There was no curtain. After someone took a shower the whole shower was wet. Also when you increase the pressure of the water you cannot hang the shower itself. Small things but I think they can be improved. Very close to a 10!
