Lake Lane Guest Rest

What a wonderful find. The lake was stunning and the family who owned it were exceptional. They could arrange tuk tuks or taxis. We preferred to walk to a beach about 20 mins walk along lovely lanes. The beach was stunning. They have boats on site to for a lake tour. Again stunning scenery we saw monkeys, numerous birds and even monitor lizards swimming along the mangrove.they have an area to eat and the food was home cooked and lovely. Truly a wonderful stay. Room was big bed comfy and hot water.

No hot water, could not pay with credit card. The owner was not hospitality oriented.

The place was wonderful—peaceful, welcoming, and with friendly people all around. We absolutely loved our experience. The food was amazing! Thank you for everything.

There are a big window with gorgeous view and a private terrace almost in the water. It was very interesting to live in the real village and see local life, but with comfort We also saw a new, very big type of gesco near the house

There are some people coming for a boat trip, breakfasts were awful

We had a wonderful time. The rooms are right next to the lake and it really is magical waking up there :)

We loved our stay here. It was so peaceful and the view of the lake is very beautiful. We had lunch and dinner and both meals were amazing! Really good home made rice and curry. We also took the boat to cinnamon island and saw how it was made. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and see Koggola lake and walk to the beach I would highly recommend!

We didn’t want to leave🥲. We had a wonderful time. It’s on the water, great if you are a nature lover. it’s very quiet and relaxing. Food was really good, 15 min to an amazing beach ( very clean and not touristy) The family and staff are absolutely fantastic. I wish them all the best🥰
