Bay Dreams Beach Hotel & Surf Camp

Bay dreams is a fantastic hotel and Iqbal and his staff work really hard to make you feel welcome and happy with your stay. We were in Arugam bay for 4 days and the room was perfect for everything we needed (our room had AC and a fan). The hotel is right as you enter arugam bay and is in the main strip but not right in the bars and restaurants but Everything is very accessible by foot and tuktuk. The breakfasts we received were delicious and it was so nice to have it round the table with other guests!! Iqbal has a friend who provides surf lessons. Raheem did our lesson for two people and takes you to a quieter beach away from other surf schools if you’re wanting more chilled experience. And for a very good price. We loved Bay dreams and would 100% go back.

Pasé dos semanas en una habitación y me hubiera quedado un año. El hostel es como una pequeña familia ❤️‍🔥 El desayuno de Vanita es increible.Las mañanas de surf con teki, excelente profesor de surf. Experiencia increíble. Volveré seguro.

Struttura bellissima , a due passi dalla spiaggia ,vicinissima al centro di arugam bay ma in una zona tranquillissima . Camere molto ampie con amaca e giardinetto esterno , pulizia impeccabile . Il Proprietario ci ha organizzato una lezione di surf al mattino presto , un safari . Servizio laudry. Colazione diversa in due mattine diverse . Le signore sono di una dolcezza unica . Fantastico.

Es war ein sauberes Zimmer und die Lage war ebenfalls sehr gut. Man ist in 2 min am Strand und kann in das Stadtzentrum laufen. Besonders das Frühstück war sehr lecker und jeden Morgen etwas anderes selbstgemachtes.

Zoals altijd zijn de gastheer en het personeel super vriendelijk.

We hadden een driepersoons kamer. Het eenpersoonsbed was een kinderbed waar een volwassen persoon eigenlijk niet inpast. De prijskwaliteit was niet echt in verhouding voor de kamer.

Schöne kleine Anlage von einem sehr engagierten Besitzer. Zur Begrüßung gab es direkt einen leckeren frischen Saft. Der Besitzer des Hostels gibt bei Bedarf viele Infos und organisiert Weitertransfer etc Fußläufig in 1 Minute am Strand. Die Preise in Agurambay haben insgesamt ein höheres Niveau und es ist touristisch einiges los. Ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Wir waren 6 Tage hier und es hat uns super gefallen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Der Gastgeber war äußerst freundlich und immer für einen da. Den Surfkurs bei Raheem können wir sehr empfehlen. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen, wenn es uns nochmal nach arugam bay verschlägt. Empfehlung geht raus!

Iqbal and his family are genuinely excellent hosts and from the first moment of check-in until we checked out they made us feel so welcome and looked after. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and have ample storage. The breakfast is delicious and varied, it was a different vegetarian breakfast each morning and each one was delicious. Iqbal also has many local contacts who can help arrange transport and surfing which is very useful. Thank you for having us! We hope to come back one day.
