This is a fantastic place to stay. Peaceful with a lovely garden terrace. Delicious varied breakfast. 2 mins from the beach and a short walk to local restaurants and Silent beach.

The cottage is located in a quiet area, 15 minutes walk from Silent Beach. The room is spacious, there is air conditioning and beach towels, which is a very big plus. A hairdryer or umbrella is also available upon request. The owner agreed to early check-in without an additional fee, for which we are very grateful! The breakfast was very good, one of the best omelettes we have eaten in Sri Lanka.

The owner is nice, although a bit withdrawn. Communication in English is possible, but at a very basic level.

Great facilities

We had a wonderful stay in a very comfortable cottage, nestled in a beautiful garden full of animals and birds. Our daughters were thrilled with the two huge beds and their own private terrace. The breakfasts were the best, and every day offered something different. Walking distance to many coves for a swim or snorkel. A big thank you to Manoj and his lovely wife – you can truly feel the heart and care they've put into everything here.

Very clean, spacious room with a terrace in front where it’s possible to lay down and read/relax. Not even 200m from a very quiet beach where it’s possible to swim and snorkel (someone I spoke with was able to see turtles). Tasty and abundant breakfast, different every day. Friendly family taking care of everything. The price was absolutely fair

Not at all the owner’s fault but I was in the room on the ground floor and I could hear the family with children above me moving furniture, children crying etc. all the time. the owner promptly apologized for that even though I didn’t mention it.

Breakfast was varied, freshly prepared and big portions! Excellent start of the day. The location next to the beach. Large terrace to relax with great view. We were here with small children and they felt - like us - at home!

Very spacious and comfortable room with a seating area outside to relax in among the many plants in the luscious garden. Only a very short walk to unakaruwa beach as well as silent beach a bit further down the coast. The breakfast was also delicious!

We liked everything. The property is located in a quiet small fishing village. The property grounds etc are beautiful. There are turtles, peacocks, squirrels, fireflies at night etc. Everyone we met or passed by were genuinely friendly. Tuk tuks are cheap. The host Manoj and his wife cooked us a beautiful different breakfast every morning. Much to much food. We surfed and Aldo took a fishing trip with the lads from the village lucking into some nice tuna. There is a variety of options in the area for meals and the beers were always cold. As it is still off season, not all the restaurants were open.

It wasn't a problem but if you book through booking.com you will have to pay the owner Manoj in cash. Card payment not accepted. We payed him with Australian Dollars Also carry cash for paying for meals etc. in the smaller eateries.

3 of us from the UK stayed one night. It's a lovely guesthouse with a very good room. Breakfast was great. We'd have loved to have stayed longer if we'd had more time.
