TWIN PALMS 'Surfhouse'

Love that our group of friends/travellers could all stay together & had full use of the place. Also that we had the option to have dinner at Twin Palms, that was great!

The rooms are not all of equal standard, and not as the photos advertised.

Really lovely spacious room and bathroom, air conditioning worked. Breakfast and dinner if we wanted it, but lots of places to eat nearby. Had a WhatsApp group to keep us updated and organise and tours. The representative at the house was very helpful with information about the island.

The style and atmosphere of the premise was exceptional. Jan was more than accommodating throughout our stay. Was super helpful when our plans on transport on getting to the island got changed and so quick to reply and arrange the transport for us when we were in a spot of bother. Marie and the other staff were also super helpful. Anything they could do for you they went above and beyond. Appreciated the tips on places to eat and things to do while we stayed here. The room was nice and spacious, beach towels offered on request, filtered water readily available as well as breakfast being excellent each morning. Bikes are also available to cycle throughout the island.

No safe available in the rooms. No fridge in rooms.

The staff are really friendly,Maria welcome us at jetty as early at 8am to pick up us to the hotel.Man cook us delicious breakfast and so kind to suggest us a good restaurant for dinner also their owner Jan are so kind to allowed us to check in and check out late follow to our ferry schedule to Male without any extra charges(pls take note this arrangement need to follow property availability also and we are the lucky one)..Overall their hospitality are so amazing .We definately recommend this property for other to stay.

Toilet has a bit strong sewage smell,just need a bit of maintenance work.

Staff were very flexible with our needs. Great breakfast every morning. Easy payment. Great location.

Room was very dark, and over priced. Theres isn’t any space to rest in the guesthouse and didn’t feel like home. Living rooms is messy with alot of dust and random things around. Room didn’t have toilet paper and had to ask couple of times for that. Staff wasn’t very hospitable. Quality and service of the guesthouse was very poor. I’m quite surprised to experience this. The rates in booking.com and the rate guesthouse charged didn’t match. The guesthouse says it’s a mistake by booking and the full amount doesn’t show from my booking. Also, booking.com didn’t waive off the fees either. Didn’t help more with my complain, simply sends me off a screenshot from the guesthouse. The odds are; never been charged with the tourist green taxes/bed taxes for a local in Maldives. I presented my local ID, even so, I was charged $15 per day which is actually only applicable for tourists from outside of Maldives. 16% goods and services is something everyone has to pay. Quite disappointing and unrealistic charges. Didn’t help the situation much but they made sure I pay in full and I did that! As a guests it’s not fair to pay just any amount they say. That’s how I felt in this experience.

We loved our stay at Twin Palms!❤️ The guesthouse is absolutely stunning and the hosts were very lovely and extremely helpful🥰 Totally recommend!!

Very beautiful and stylish property. It was clean, tidy and comfortable. Maria and everyone else were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was super delicious and fresh. The best we had on the island.

No cot available for a baby, but we managed in a big family room with the beds.
