Nature Night Homestay

Our stay at Nature Night was absolutely wonderful, and I would 100% recommend it! - The best breakfast in Sri Lanka guest houses! We stayed in 5 different properties and the breakfast here was definitely the best: national cuisine, big portions, delicious. We also once tried a dinner, and it was absolutely delicious as well. - The host and the whole family was very kind and hospitable to us. - The bathroom is big and clean. The room itself is not big, but has a comfortable bed with a mosquito net, bedside table and clothes rack. Probably having a chair and a small wardrobe would make it more comfortable, but as we stayed only for 2 nights, this was not a problem at all. - Wi-Fi was very fast comparing to other places. - The house is located in a very nice place, surrounded by the garden.

Nothing critical that could significantly affect your staying but there are some minor points: - Having an option to eat inside could be good, as there are many flies outside that could be annoying a bit (or having some repellent/other things to drive them away). - One day we returned after the sunset by foot and were stuck for some time by several barking dogs on the way to the house. It would be great to give some recommendations to travelers what are safe roads to the house and what is better to do in such cases.

This was one of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka over our 3 week trip, Lakshitha and his family were excellent hosts, the room was simple but brilliant, and the food was fantastic Details - spotless room - large double bed with great mattress and no problems for me (189cm) which I have had at other Homestays with hard wooden ends to the bed - bathroom was clean, also the shower had a small inset so that shower water didn’t get all over the place which was a nice addition - we were offered toothbrushes and razors which was very kind - air conditioning worked perfectly, and was quiet - bed had large mosquito net - towels and soap provided Hospitality was excellent, we were given juice on arrival, a fantastic and large breakfast included, as well as free bottled (cool) water throughout our stay with every meal. We were also offered transport (which we took to Negombo and was a fantastic quality car) and Safari tours (which we didn’t have time to do) at a price lower than what we were quoted on the street, Lakshitha doesn’t take any commission and is just trying to make your stay the best possible We would stay here again if we came back to Sigiriya for sure, this is an amazing stay, at a really good price.

The host and his family are very nice and helpful. He helps you organising your tours and transport. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. We had dinner there every evening and it was absolutely delicious.

We had a great time staying 5 nights with the family - breakfast everyday was large and delicious - we also had dinner 3 times and each time it was true feast with many options - we had to work during our stay and the internet connection was perfect! I measured 70Mbps download and 90Mbps upload! - there is also table outside in the garden where we spent our working days - they helped us get a scooter and it was high quality - you will be only guests

We were treated like king and queen. :) The family really makes sure that your stay is perfect. We stayed 2 nights and we had delicious dinners and breakfast cooked by the mother :). Also the family arranged for a great elephant safari and we saw many ! The place itself is surrounded by nature which was really nice. The room is oke and the bathroom is very spacious and the shower is nice and has hot water. Also the bed is soft and comfortable. Special thanks to the son Lakshitha who made sure that the stay was perfect ! Highly recommended :)

My partner and I had a lovely stay in this place for 3 nights. Lakshitha and his family are extremely kind and welcoming. We arrived a bit late (around 9pm) on the first night and they were still willing to serve us the dinner we had previously arranged. Lakshitha and his family were always checking on us, and arranged everything we needed. The room is simple, but enough for a pleasant stay, and the bathroom spacious and clean. The breakfasts and dinners we had there were amazing, very fresh and carefully prepared. We wanted a place to relax from the previous busy days, so we loved that the house was a bit secluded and peaceful, while still at walking distance to the famous Lion Rock, and nearby shops and restaurants. We did the safari tour with Lakshitha and it was really nice, with so many elephants and the beautiful wildlife in Hurulu park. I had some important online meetings, so internet was an important thing for me and I can say the internet there was one of the fastest and most stable connections we had in all places we stayed in Sri Lanka. So I definitely recommend this place for whoever is looking for a tranquil and pleasant stay in Sigiriya with a lovely family.

That was calm and relaxing stay. It has all the amenities. Peaceful stay.

It's a room in a family home in a quiet area surrounded by nature! You will be the only guest. The room is clean with a comfortable bed with a mosquito net, also with excelent AC and super fast WiFI! This place is so much better than other hotels. Don't think twice about staying here. Lakshita and his family are lovely and kind people, always smiling, the mum cooks delicious food, the breakfast that is included is big and also delicious! The quality here exceeds the price, really. Lakshita arranged everything to go to Pidurangala, he took me to Dambulla, and also to an amazing safari where I saw tons of elephants, everything also at good price. I'm glad I found this place and I wish many blessings to this family.

I wish I could've stayed longer here.

Amazing homestay with lovely hosts. Good room and spacious bathroom with hot shower. Nice breakfast in the morning.
