Great room. Clean, dry. The ceiling hairdryer worked well and it was not hot. Bed linen and towels are clean. There is a kitchen that you can use freely. We had our own bathroom with hot water. It's an 8-minute walk to the ocean and the supermarket. Kind owner, he helped us find a new taxi at night because our taxi didn't show up.

Overall, I'm happy with the stay. It's a fair trade for its money. The room is clean and comfortable with a big king size bed, the villa is very quiet, the location is great. It might seem a little bit too far to walk to the beach on foot, but if you have a bike, it wouldn't be a problem at all. The host is the best: very helpful and kind, he arranged my transfer to and from the airport and to Ella and back. Also it is possible to rent the bike from the host and the price is good.

From the room description, I got the idea that the kitchen would be inside the apartment, but in the reality, there was only one common kitchen in the building. That wasn't much of a problem as I barely used it; however, the description was unclear. Also, there were no closet and air conditioner in my room. It was fine for me not to have air conditioner (although it makes air much drier so that your clothes and towels can actually get dry), but the lack of a wardrobe was tough. And there were also no washing machine which again was a bit sad as I had stayed for a month. The room was okay for its price, but if I come back to Mirissa, I would stay somewhere else.

Very simple and clean room with good quality of bathroom ( in Sri Lanka is not so obviesious). Very kind and helpfull host:).

Perfect for the money. Quite area, nice room and the balcony. Comfortable bed. Kitchen downstairs. Around 10 min walk to the beach, lots of restaurants around. Highly recommend!

Nothing comes to mind

Absolutely everything. The room was big, comfy and with very few mosquitoes (and there’s a mosquito net). The fan is working perfectly and there’s hot water in the shower. The wifi is fast and ideal to do a bit of work. There’s a kitchen which is cleaned every morning (and it’s good cause some guests have 0 clue how to live in a community..) It’s away from the main road so super quiet at night, and the host is very nice and accommodating. It’s very close to some restaurants and shops and 8 min from the main road.

The neighbours - putting super loud music all day. But that’s nothing to do with the place, just bad luck 😌

My room was very nice, spacious even for practise yoga. With big window, tabel and the clothes rack. Really clean. Bed was comfortable. I stayed at 1st floor, so fresh air and no mosquitos.In front of my room there is a plant griwing on the balcony, so not direct sun coming in to my room, I slept without fan. There are small kitchen with all you needs. The host are kind and helpful, living nearby. For me very good quality for that price. Close to the restaurants and caffés and short walk to the beach, but away from the hustle. Can recommended.
