The bed was comfy, apartment was clean. There was a kitchen and host was nice. Close to airport.

Shower head was old and water came everywhere but on our body. Hot water came extremely slowly. The big road next to the building was very busy and laud all day and all night. Earplugs are recommended. Curtians were not perfect, it was almost total daylight in the room, sleep mask also recommended. Kitchen was useful but the kitchenware was in poor condition.

I had to spend the night near Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City, and I was looking for a place close by since my flight was early in the morning. Casa Azul Aragón was very affordable, and I booked it with a bit of hesitation—great value places often come with a catch. But I was truly impressed; this place exceeded my expectations. The property is clean, with very comfortable beds, a good fan, and a welcoming common area that includes a kitchen and living room. The lighting in the room was excellent—you can adjust it to your preference, from bright to dim. I also needed to do some laundry, and the housekeeper kindly offered to take care of it for just 100 pesos, as long as I provided the detergent (which I easily found at the pharmacy next door). That alone was a huge convenience and a great deal. If you get hungry at night, there’s a burger place just half a block away. A word of advice—don’t order anything double meat unless you’re really hungry! The portions were massive, and the desserts were incredible. I had a great one-night stay at Casa Azul Aragón and will definitely consider it again the next time I need to stay near Mexico City Airport.

I wouldn’t say “I didn’t like” anything about my stay at Casa Azul, because overall, I genuinely enjoyed everything during my time there. However, there are a couple of things worth noting—just so you can decide whether this place aligns with your personal preferences and expectations. First, the hot water in the shower is only available during certain hours of the day. In my case, I had hot water after 7:00 p.m., and the shower was fantastic with excellent water pressure. I’m not sure if it’s possible to coordinate a different schedule with the property manager, but it never hurts to ask. Second, Casa Azul is located right next to a busy Mexico City highway, which can be a bit noisy. Personally, the noise didn’t bother me at all, and my room was well-insulated, so I didn’t hear any street sounds. Still, it’s something to be aware of depending on your sensitivity to noise. Aside from these two points, the place was truly amazing—especially for the price. I would absolutely stay here again.
