Damith Guest House

I stayed at a hostel. It was a huge room with about 6 bunk beds + other room with about 2 bunk beds and 1 bathroom,cold water only.I had it all to myself for 2 nights! The hostel has a nice clean pool, which I really enjoyed. They also have about 3 other apartments there—perfect for families. Breakfast is included (coffee/tea, toast with butter and jam, fruit/juice). The location suited me—a 10–15-minute walk to the main street (restaurants, shops) or a 30–40-minute walk to the beaches.

It looks like nobody has used this hostel in quite some time... The beds are either full of ant nests, dirty, or covered in mold. I arrived in the evening and wanted to leave right away. The owner switched my bed and gave me clean sheets—except for the mold on the pillows. I stayed there for only 3 nights because I wanted to rest by the pool and relax after all my travels. This place has a lot of potential and could definitely use a little care.
