The Pillohouzzze

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The owner is incredibly kind. She gave us tips for visiting the city, or going out to eat. She is very present and always asks how we are doing. We really thank her for such a warm welcome. The hotel itself is quiet, clean and the location is perfect. We really recommend this hotel.

Owners are lovely, friendly and welcoming, even when I had to check in late due to some travel delays. Room was comfy and cosy with good air con, other facilities clean and well maintained. Great to have use of a kitchen area to wash out water bottles etc, make coffee and get free filtered water. Location is also amazing especially for the price - only a few minutes walk to Jonker Street, the Dutch square, restaurants and museums. Would definitely stay here if I visit Melaka again :)

Very lovely owners and clean toilets and rooms. I had a pretty long stay considering there's nothing much to do at malacca, but the owner gave me many suggestions of places to visit or eat at. I basically had more than enough activities to do. I couldn't even finish visiting all the food locations suggested (the ones I managed to visit were all great) Very quiet location even though it is very close to the bustling jonker street and weekend night market. As a light sleeper I had good sleeps. Very worthy place for the price.

Central location close to all the places (walkable distance) a tourist would like to see. Lots of restaurants bars, markets and malls near. The weekend night market is an event that attract many tourist. Lots of food and souvenirs to buy. The host Maria is a wonderful person. Helps the guest in all forms possible.

It was very clean. The owner is super nice and helpful. The location is also amazing. Free filtered water! I would stay here again!

I just wish there was a fridge but it was fine. I managed.

Everything was ok

The Pillohouzzze was a great place to stay in Malacca. It's very close to everything, very clean. The staff was super nice and helpful.

right next to the centre and very quiet at night, none of the crowds from the centre came this way. literally a two minute walk to Jonker Street. owners are super friendly and gave us recommendations about the area. very comfortable and big bed, lots of space in the room for bags. exceptionally clean, probably one of the cleanest places i’ve stayed at. everything was spotless.

the only (minor) downside is that the house was quite hot, with the AC in the bedroom it’s no problem but the kitchen/communal area could get a bit stuffy at times.

There is really nothing I did not like about this place. The location is superb, the rooms and bathrooms super clean, the owner extremely helpful and friendly.
