The host was great for giving out tips for events, weather and the general area. The place was spotless clean and was generally very good value for money.

The location was spot on. The staff was very kind. She let me bath and change even before check in as it was raining.She also explained the facilities available.

There should be a mirror in each room. Just a small mirror will do.

We stayed at this homestay for 3 nights and it is run by Maria and her husband. Maria is super kind , nice and friendly and helped us in every way she could. She gave us many good advice like where to exchange money with best rate. The room is spotlessly clean, even for the public area, kitchen, washroom, etc, are all tidy. The main advantage of the homestay is it’s close to the red square(3 min walk). You even can come back to take a nap and have a shower in hot afternoon.

The google maps will lead you to the back door of the homestay. The back door is locked and you need to ring the bell. It would get confused at the first time.

The place is clean, cozy and Maria is a great host. Always with a good advice and ready to help you. If I come back to Melaka I know where I'm staying!

What to say - Maria's house is really exceptional! Super clean, comfortable, quiet. There is everything you need and much more. I felt so welcomed from the first minute until the departure - and it's mainly because of Maria! The location is just perfect and I was sooo grateful for all recommendations! Thank you for everything and I hope to see you again! :)

The owner was so friendly and helpful and full of local knowledge, she recommended some great restaurants nearby. The hotel was absolutely spotless. Perfect location for exploring melaka. I don't usually "do" shared bathrooms but would absolutely recommend this place as its so clean and there are more than enough bathrooms for everyone.

I would prefer a proper duvet. It would be helpful to know beforehand that grab drivers will take you round to the back of the hotel and you'll need to walk around.

The host Maria was super friendly and helpful. Gave us good travel suggestions. The room, bathroom and the whole house was super clean. Location was in the middle of all the tourists attractions so we could walk to most of the places.

It's good if you can provide pair of slippers for the guests to use inside the guest house.

Maria makes you feel like home! She gave me great recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as things to do in Melaka. The house is very very close to the heritage area so it’s very comfortable to walk around and come back whenever you need. The room and bed were very comfortable, it had aircon and the toilets were very clean. I really enjoyed being there!! :)

The owner is so kind and gives you much infornation to explore the places nearby. It is a comfortable place to stay and so colse to main touristic spots of the city. I'd definitely recommend you stay there!
