Perhentian AB Guest House

La chambre est climatisée, le lit est confortable, la localisation est parfaite puisque l’établissement est situé juste à côté de la mosquée. Le rapport qualité prix est avantageux pour les îles Perhentian.

La climatisation faiblit parfois il faut parfois compléter avec le ventilateur. Les murs sont fins donc on entend vraiment tout aux alentours.

Le personnel aimable, gentil, à l’écoute Chambre qui me convient parfaitement Attention : la mosquée était juste à côté et cela ne m’a pas dérangé d’entendre l’appel à la prière le matin très tôt Chambre presque bien équipé

You get very good value for money. We stayed for three nights and honestly it was better than I expected. I booked a family room with 3 other friends and we had no complains. The location is very close to the mosque so that was a plus for me. There are many restaurants, water taxis, laundry services at a walking distance. Our room was clean and we didn't get annoyed by any bugs during the stay. 100% recommend if you're looking for an affordable and clean place

Personally I didn't dislike anything but the room could be small for families. Wasn't a problem for me and my friends though. Location could be a problem for some because of the proximity to the mosque but again, that was a plus for me.

Staff bailed me out when I locked my keys in the room at night. Good location esp. if preaching from the nearby mosque is your thing. Good basic room , bed hardish AC and fan both worked v.well, en suite basic but adequate. This place was really good value and as such much better than some of the dearer options on the island.

Exceeded expectations

The room itself is very comfortable, and they let me check-in early. Ahmad, the owner, was incredibly communicative and helpful via messages. When another guest accidentally took my t-shirt drying outside and I had already left the islands, Ahmad shipped it to my next destination and did everything in his power to track it and follow up with me. He went above and beyond, and I'm very grateful!

As others have commented, the mosque calls wake you up early. I was also there during some kind of special event, so there were lots of visitors camped out outside of the mosque and there was chanting/shouting coming through the microphone throughout the whole day. I had ear plugs in, but I was still woken up quite early. As others have also said, mind the fact that you must take a water taxi to get to long beach - if you are alone and there are no other tourists, you will have to pay 40ringit to take the boat.

Lo primero la ubicación. Está en el pueblo de pescadores, lo que implica tener que coger taxi boat para ir a cualquier playa en la que te puedas bañar, ya que entre que la zona está muy sucia y que está prohibido estar sin camiseta para los hombres y llevar bikini para las mujeres, es imposible bañarse (esto es una norma que afecta a todo el área, no solo la playa). Además, el hotel está a 20 metros de la mezquita y con el primer rezo (6am) te despiertas. Por último, en cuanto al hotel, nadie nos recibió (solamente teníamos una pegatina en nuestra habitación con el nombre), no había sábanas, había muchísimo ruido de otras habitaciones, no tenía lavabo, no estaba limpio y había mosquitos. Por no mencionar que las habitaciones son contenedores. Viendo las reseñas anteriores, parece que el hotel está genial, pero nada más lejos de la realidad. Es cierto que es barato y hay bastantes restaurantes alrededor que son muy baratos, ya que esta es la zona no turística, pero el hecho de que no sea turístico complica mucho la logística para ir a otros lugares. En definitiva, creo que en parte pongo esta reseña tan negativa por las reseñas anteriores, que no son nada objetivas con la realidad.

Cerca de todo, lugares para comer, cenar,el puerto, y tiendas. Cama cómoda ,hay un pequeño tendedero fuera y un grifo para limpiarte la arena de los pies

No hay nevera y la mezquita está a 1 minuto y a las 5 de la mañana te despierta la llamada a la oración . El aire acondicionado no enfriaba mucho.
