Pleasant Park Holiday Inn

The place was as promised on the pictures, the AC worked very well and everything was clean. The owner was very nice and they had a good 24h laundry service.

It is a bit further away from the main restaurants on Uppuveli beach but the distance is certainly walkable. Even at night we felt safe to walk.

Le personnel est très accueillant et nous a donné beaucoup de conseils sur les activités à faire sur Trincomalee et aux alentours. L’emplacement est parfait pour aller à la plage et juste à côté de la route pour se déplacer rapidement partout dans la ville. La chambre était très propre et avait tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour. Je recommande très fortement !

El lugar es muy amable y la casa es bonita. Nos dio sugerencias de lugares cercanos y esta muy bien ubicado.

En un momento entraron bastantes hormigas en la habitación pero el señor muy amablemente lo arregló :)

First off all....owners are extremely nice and helpful. You can feel they are your real friends!!! I stayed there more than 3 weeks and will come again to the same place and people. I really miss them very much! If you are real traveler looking for staying with local, honest people....I definitely recommend! Beautiful garden, good vibes. Place is situated beetwen touristic area and Trinco centre and close to the beach with small local shops around. With whole my heart I recommend place with amazing local food....Devine Delights....just few steps away. You can easly ask for dishes not included in the menu. So....when coming to Tinco ....just stay at Pleasent Park Holiday...and thank you, I could have that time with you!!! See you next time:)

I ended up extending my stay here for total of 4. That says it all! I was sad to leave . The local beach is a pleasant spot for swimming, but try also Dutch Bay beach for snorkeling

The previous review was mistakenly posted for a different property. This is the correct one. I stayed here in July with a last-minute booking, but the warm welcome made me feel right at home. Upon arrival, they helped me park and quickly showed me to my room, which was very clean. There’s no air conditioning, but a pleasant breeze comes through the window, and the mosquito net allowed me to sleep comfortably even though I usually dislike bugs. The hotel is in a great location—just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. Nearby, there are shops selling beer, wine, and ice, as well as a delicious and affordable Sri Lankan restaurant right next door (takeout available). There’s no fridge in the room, but the owner kindly let me use their family fridge to chill my drinks. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always around and ready to assist with anything. As a guest, I could book snorkeling tours to Pigeon Island and dolphin & whale watching trips at a special rate. Even same-day bookings were arranged smoothly, including transport to the meeting point. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and efficient. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next time I visit Sri Lanka. Thank you to the owner and the whole family for a lovely time!

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The owner was incredible, orgarnized Dolphin and whale waching with the very good price with 7000Rs not only The hotel itself was spotless, with spacious rooms and great attention to detail. beautiful, clean beach so perfect for relaxing after a big day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming stay with top-notch hospitality.

L’emplacement est parfait pour découvrir Trincomalee et ses environs ! La plage est à 300m à pied, un vrai bonheur pour se rafraîchir et en prendre plein les yeux !
