The accomodations is great, clean and nicely decorated, breakfast was delicious and staff is very helpful with any needs.Wi-fi connection was strong and fast.Highly recomand this stay.

They had some issue with the wifi which was unpleasant, since there is almost no signal at the property.

Lovely place to stay…at the end of the world. Friendly staff and gorgeous food. Highly recommend to visit and stay for few days! Beautiful views, the object is localized between wild nature !

The building is new and beautifully designed (inspired by an old noble mansion). It is located in the beautiful Cormaia valley at the foothills of the Rodna mountains which provides access to many hiking trails. The property offers access to a spa with two types of sauna and a jacuzzi, which is excellent after a day’s long winter hike. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We received a heater and a drying rack to dry our wet clothes after a rainy day’s hike. The restaurant is very good. The food, while traditionally inspired and using local ingredients, such as fresh trout, had an imaginative modern twist. I would call it fancy. Also, there was decaffeinated coffee available.

Even though the food was delicious, for breakfast we had only egg based options. I am not sure it is healthy to eat egg with sausage and bacon every morning. Some simple yogurt with muesli or porridge could help (especially in combination with the delicious jams they have). I think because the building is new there is still some work to be completed. Around the building there is still some construction going on, thus the surroundings have a slightly bleak, muddy look in the winter (this will probably be fixed with some nice gardening arrangements). Many rooms have problems with the door latch (it is possible to get stuck in the restaurant restroom 😅). The WiFi is not secured and may malfunction sometimes (though it worked most of the time). One of the rooms we had (“camera cu dichis”) has the TV screen strangely positioned on a wall to the side of the bed, thus one could not watch TV sitting in bed, and there was no furniture to sit in front of the TV. In fact, the TV screen in the other room (“camera scriitorilor”) was also small relative to the distance from the bed. Nonetheless we were not much bothered since we did not come to watch TV.
