Excellently located in central Collingwood close to everything we needed. Friendly and welcoming, room was clean and well presented.

Fabulous host. Everything we could have needed was there for us. Highly recommend.

It’s exactly like the photos.

You can barely open the windows so you can’t really let the fresh air in. When we arrived it smell like humidity (rainy day) but the smell didn’t leave for the 2 nights we were there. If you cook something, same problem, it smells in there whole room and you can’t do anything against it.

Very good location which is right next to a very long, peaceful, drift-wood strewn (but otherwise very clean) beach and protected dunes area. Great for long, uninterrupted walks. Handy for the area of Wharariki Beach too which is about 35 minutes drive away and a highly recommended visit. Comfortable, well proportioned room with plenty of storage, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities etc. Shared access to a small, but very well provisioned kitchenette area. Clean and well provisioned en-suite shower suite. Free off-street-parking available. Hosts are very pleasant and amicable.

We loved our stay at the Blue Moon. It was quiet, peaceful and had excellent facilities. Perfect location for visiting Farewell Spit and Wharareki Beach. The owner was really welcoming and helpful. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Thank you,!
