Nice night, half our travellers stayed in the house part, good showers and cooking facilities for campers.

Beautiful large clean comfortable double room. Lovely gardens. Good bicycle storage.

The relaxed environment. The owner contacting us to make sure we were ok prior to arrival. The quirkiness.

Comfortable beds with plenty of storage in family room. Sadly it was raining so we couldn't make use of the garden & bbq.

The host was very responsive and sent a lot of useful information about the self check-in process and gave us good tips the next morning when we met her in person, which we appreciated.

One thing I didn’t like about the host was that she informed me about charging my credit card but didn’t check my response where I clearly stated I wanted to pay in cash, and the payment was processed anyway with an additional fee for card payment. We stayed in a room in the main house, which was generally okay, but there is only one bathroom shared between three rooms, and the toilet is inside the bathroom. This means that when someone is showering, the toilet cannot be used, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, the house is not very well maintained. The bathroom floor is sinking, the shower could definitely use renovation, and the dryer was very dirty, as were the laundry baskets. You can see there was an effort to create a cozy stay, but the accommodation would really benefit from more timely and proper maintenance.
