Greenstone Retreat

Greenstone is a very calm and tranquil place with plenty of greenery and song birds around. The room was comfortable and the kitchen facilities had all the utensils.

We loved caravan Lolly! She is one cute caravan, set up with all the comfort you need. The bed was comfortable, we had a little stove to make coffee/tea, and the heater was very much appreciated. The location is so lovely and serene, tucked away from the busier spots but quite central so perfect to explore. The shared bathrooms are great as well with really good showers, and heatlamps! The weather was quite wet and windy during our stay so a good and hot shower at the end of the day was very much appreciated!

Great location as a base for visiting Hokitika and Arthur's Pass. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Nice room and good facilities.

The kitchen is outside, so it does get quite cold in winter, but not much of an issue.

Very peaceful, and they also offer onsite yoga!

The welcome, even though I had not met the proprietor in person. The home felt and smelt like walking into a wairua space, so immediately we felt relaxed. We three wahine work long hours and came to the coast to work some hours more. To return to a whare that was warm, connected to a community of other travelers within the Kumara township of the West Coast was a privilege. Thank you.
