Al Hamra Guest House

- Ahmed is the nicest Omani man ever :) - He even send us a lot of tips about what to see in Oman and where to eat, - everything is new, the huge fridge, new AC, - towel and blanket fresh from the laundry, - big kitchen to use by guests

Big, clean and comfortable room. Ahmed, the owner, is a very kind person and really attentive. The property has a nivel terrace. I highly recommend this place.

Ahmed was a great host despite our late arrival due to navigation issues to get to Al Hamra. The guest house is easily accessible once you've reached Al Hamra and located in a calm neighbourhood. The room was very clean and well equiped, there's even a shared kitchen you can use.

The bathroom is without shower tray or curtain which is frequent in Oman but it can get a bit messy when you're not used to it. Water pressure was also a bit low but it also seems to be a common issue in some parts of Oman. It was still very clean.

The owner is very nice and friendly. He gave us some useful links to sightseeing we would like to see. The room we got was quiet, cosy and clean. I totally recommend this place.

Location was good

Not at all central location, but in a very pacefull street, not noisy. Parking is easy. You need a car for this guesthouse. The street with restaurants, supermarkets, fruits&vegetables is very close. The Omanian owner was very kind young man. We were at the 1st floor, view to the garden and rock wall. Room is equiped with brand new furniture, sufficient facilities, cosy kingsize bed, big fridge in the room. On the ground floor it is a well equiped kitchen with microwave and kettle.

The water pression was weak. As guest house it is a little bit overpriced.
