Family owned self sufficient ECO farm TARA

Everything! The location is absolutely breathtaking — surrounded by untouched nature, mountains, and complete peace. The farm is self-sufficient, beautifully maintained, and has a true soul. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and generous — you feel like part of their family. The food was homemade, fresh, and delicious. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like — it was a magical experience from start to finish.

It was in a perfect location if you want to go rafting and ziplining at the Tara Bridge in Durmitor. The family is super nice and we very much enjoyed the home cooked local meal. The daughters were kindenough to ask if we were interested in feeding the cows and goats woth them, super sweet. Can only recommend this place to erveyone who likes to go local, off the beaten path but still with all the luxuries and comforts you would like.

Lots of animals, nice host, very good location, breathtaking landscape, clean and equipped rooms, privacy, parking place, breakfast and dinner option.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The surroundings are beautiful, the accommodation was simple, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are available on request, homemade. Very good value for money.

We came by motorcycle and the access road was a bit difficult.
