Allba's Homestay

It is beautiful. The ocean access was great, we swam with turtles and enjoyed whole days alone in the water.

It’s basic, but comfortable and well maintained.

Water front and able to snorkel right off the front. The beach entry has a small sandy spot and then rocks otherwise. There's a scuba diving shop next door too where you can rent snorkel gear for 200 pesos ($4 USD) for the day. The mange Idonnah was super nice. Also have scooter rentals for cheap to go to Panagsama Beach, White sand beach, or other places within 15-20 min ride. They will also organize actvities for you like canyoneering and pick up at the hotel. WiFi only available at reception and there's not really anywhere to sit and set up a computer FYI for anyone needing to work while on vacation. However there are ample cafes in panagsama beach with WiFi which is where we set up shop to get work done one day. Overall very happy with the accommodations for the price. Lovely gardens with plumerias and orchids. Restaraunt is under construction FYI. It's quiet here compared to town or panagsama beach except there are quite a lot of roosters at the neighbors house. It didn't bother us though it sounded in the distance

A spot with WiFi to sit with a computer and work.

Beautiful lush gardens, and villas right next to to the sea with an endlessly fascinating, diverse coral reef at our doorstep— we snorkelled every day, morning and afternoon, and saw something different every day. Turtles were a highlight. Bliss. We had a couple of meals at the next-door dive resort where my husband booked a couple of dives. Nice for a change of scenery and a bit fancier with a proper restaurant, pool bar, espresso machine. You can also rent good quality snorkelling gear there, including for kids. Allba’s had more personality though, and you really can’t beat the price. I’m really glad we stayed there, and recommend it to families who want laid-back vibes and incredible easy shallow snorkelling on a budget.

The restaurant is still under construction but making progress; there were workers there every weekday. I think it will be stunning when completed. Yes the road is bumpy but very manageable by motorcycle, van or even tuktuk. I highly, highly recommend booking one of the rooms down by the water, not at the top of the property near the road. We slept peacefully where we were, but it must be noisy near reception (dogs barking, neighbouring roosters). I did struggle with the weak shower pressure but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me given the price, location, and kindness of the family who run Allba’s. Service is friendly and accommodating but this is a Homestay, not a 5-star all-inclusive resort. If you can slow down and not expect instant gratification for every small whim, you’ll be fine here. We genuinely loved it despite these small quirks.

Самое лучшее расположение отеля. И по стоимости приемлемо. Наше бунгало было с кондиционером и холодильником. Кулер с питьевой водой на балконе. Завтракали и пару раз ужинали на балконе. В основном на ужин ходили в кафе-гриль, минут 10 пешком мимо бойцовских петухов и забавных козликов. Персонал приветливый. Учитывая мой неполноценный английский, всё понимали. Организовали трансфер до следующего отеля. Территория красивая. Море не описуемо! Черепахикаждый день гарантированы по несколько штук. Даже змеи в море есть. Кораллы, конечно, по сравнению с 2019 годом подустали. Наверное, Гольфстрим влияет. Но вроде как новые начинают кое-где расти на рифе. На берегу бы немножко порядок навести: очевидно, раньше там был дайвцентр, сейчас полуразрушенное здание и совсем разрушенная смотровая площадка что ли. Жаль!

В душевой появлялись маленькие червячки. Но это, наверное, во всех бунгало так. Природа!

Wo gibt es sowas? Für 13 Euro am Tag! Der Bungalow war großzügig und nett eingerichtet, mit Terrasse und Blick aufs Meer. Man kann dort sehr gut schnorcheln. Da das Restaurant noch kaputt ist, wird einem das Essen zum Bungalow gebracht. Das Personal ist in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit. Und, und, und..

Es liegt noch sehr viel Bauschutt rum. Das ist schade. Nicht von jedem Bungalow ist der Blick so schön. Aber der Taifun 2021 und Corona haben die Gegend schwer getroffen. Und es ist mühsam, alles wieder aufzubauen. Sie geben ihr Bestes und sind dabei gefordert oder auch zum Teil überfordert.
