Dorul Pescarului

We found this to be the perfect family stay. The property offers wonderful facilities, including a swimming pool and a charming farm. The owner and his family are genuinely warm and welcoming and it truly feels like they enjoy hosting and sharing their culture and food. Our kids had an amazing time playing around the farm, swimming, petting the farm animals, going on a boat ride around the lake, and playing with all the toys both indoors and outdoors. Meanwhile, we appreciated the chance to unwind after a busy trip around Romania and even managed to catch up on some work in the peaceful surroundings. The village is just 15–20 minutes off the main road of the Transfăgărășan and easily accessible by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are especially grateful for the kind and thoughtful hospitality. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and engaging retreat.

This place is romania: queit, peaceful, all the nature and the hospitality, it was more than we expected. We highly recommend this beautiful place, suitable for every family and perfect for nature and animal lovers, a piece of heaven🙏🙏

Great host, tasty breakfast, very nice location, peaceful

Absolutely everything. It’s paradise. It can be easily found with waze, its peaceful and quiet and relaxing and oh, so beautiful! Not to mention the amazing food and hosts, the dogs and the cat, the frog concerts on the lake, its been just what we needed! The property has a swimming pool, ping pomg table, pool table, gorgeous music, karaoke mics and so much more ! There are 3 amazing dogs and one cat, all so friendly and attentive to tourists!

That we were not able to use the barbecue even tho others could and use it … told us that its only for the staff and on description it doesnt say that ..

Location of the accomodation is very nice and quiet. We had some troubles finding it, so we contacted them and the owner came to pick us up, which was very friendly and very appreciated by us. Rooms are very clean and breakfast was good. There is a small swimming pool which is also nice.
