Ratiu House

Beautiful property and very carefully decorated, big and comfortable rooms and beds, excellent and diverse breakfast (even for vegetarians), perfect for a stay in Turda. The property yard is beautiful and the Long-ear-owls that populate the trees in the yard are a real delight. I also loved that the room came with books about this notable Transylvanian family that owns the property.

Foarte bine intretinuta casa, foarte boem micul dejun. Camera foarte calduroasa, se simtea asa, un iz de istorie. Fix in centrul orasului, aproape de o mica promenada. Foarte placuta surpriza, se vad influentele englezesti. Am inteles ca sotia lui Ioan Ratiu a fost din Londra.

The breakfast was fabulous in a cosy, still elegant salon. The fireplace was lit with real wood. The service was impeccable. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The house (various buildings) and the courtyard have a lot of character. The location is perfect... in the middle of the town (still with parking nearby) next to several nice restaurants and cafes. There is even a specialist coffee place just few minutes away.
