Casa Lapira

Great location - close to main areas of Valletta + buses + ferries (we went to the 3 cities and Gozo). Beautiful view from our balcony. We had hoped for a room with a washer but only 2 out of the 7 units have washing machines. The host, Paul solved that problem for us. Also delivered an iron + ironing board to our room one day when we were out. Communication was great through What’s App. Thank you, Paul!

A bit noisy at night but we knew to expect that given the area of the spot. We did not mind one bit but may be good for others to know.

Property owner very helpful, very clean and staff nice and friendly

Good size room, location good

No daily housekeeping. had to ask for new towels and cleaning. Place was advertised to have a restaurant, but is not on the site. Also no minimarket or barber shop at hotel.. Limited reception service.

Apartment was hard to find in the dark as we arrived late evening. Directions map on Booking.com very poor. Had to make several phone calls to owner. Apt was up 3 flight of stairs. Room needs repainted and bathroom needs deep clean and shower re-grouted. Minimal utensils in kitchen. Location at bottom of steep hill from town centre. Bed comfortable but better bed linens and duvet needed

Booking com rating of 9.4 on display in hallway very misleading. Would rate it an 8 at most

The hotel is in the best place possible. Easy access to all the points of interest. Also the room was really nice. Thank you!

Everything. Paul, the host is very gracious, friendly and so helpful with dining recommendations and drivers. The room, 7, was lovely. Quiet, spacious, basic cooking facilities and large. The Cada is 2 blocks from.the major restaurants and shops so super convenient yet sooo quiet Highlyrecommended!

Loved everything. If you don't like stairs, ask for rooms 1 to 4...

In Casa Lapira übermachtete ich zum ersten Mal, 7 Nächte. Von ca. 25 Aufenthalten in Valletta, die sechste Unterkunft. Vorab bekam ich alle Informationen, die man zum selbstständigen Check In benötigt, mein Zimmer in EG war bereits um 13 Uhr bezugsfertig und ich wurde herzlich empfangen. Das Haus hat eine sehr günstige Lage für einen Stadtaufenthalt und mit dem Taxi/Bolt kommt man fast vor die Türe (in Valetta nicht selbstverständlich). Die Fähre zu Three Cities & Fast Ferry nach Gozo sind bequem in 5 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen, der Busbahnhof in ca. 10 Minuten. Um die Ecke sind Bistros, Bars, Restaurants, Geschäfte. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber und auch für längere Aufenthalte sehr gut ausgestatttet, mit Küchenzeile, Kühlschrank, im EG sogar mit Waschmaschiene. Vom Balkon aus blickte ich auf die Straße, die in Spielbergs Film Munich als Drehort diente. Die Betten waren hervorragend, sowie die Verdunkelung und Klimaanlage. Der Inhaber und sein Personal sind sehr gastfreundlich, unaufdringlich aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht ihren Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Ich habe mich in Casa Lapira sehr wohl gefühlt und kann eine klare Empfehlung geben!

Fantastic location and Paul was a great host. The rooms were well appointed and very clean.

Not fussed on the stairs as oldies.
