Avenra Cottage

I loved the location, outside of the hustle of Ella but close enough to quickly walk in if you wish. Plenty of options for food, drink and massages. Perfect location to hike to both little Adams peak and also the nine arch bridge. The host is absolutely amazing, so friendly and accommodating. I had 100s of questions and requests which were all taken care of and even little things like when I hung my clothes out, the host moved them into the sun throughout the day to make sure they were dry. Many little touches like this made my stay here so wonderful.

This was my best stay at Sri Lanka. Everything i needed was there, from hair dryer to mini freeze. The host was a generous person. He contacted with us before coming and made sure we had a comfortable stay. On our first day we were fasting and so requested him to arrange the breakfast items at the evening. He did that without any hesitation. Next day it was our Eid and he wished us and prepared excellent breakfast, a mixed of sri lankan food and english breakfast! The property was near the trail of nine arc bridge and the little adams peak. Also there was a massage center just opposite to the property. After the tracking i had severe headache and went there for a head massage. It was very relaxing.

Wonderful location close to sightseeing locations. Nice clean rooms very tastefully built and decorated. The owner was very friendly and welcomed us very warmly. Breakfast was elaborate and we loved it. Overall, a great experience !

Die Unterkunft ist etwas außerhalb gelegen, dennoch können der Little Adams Peak, die Nine Arch Bridge und auch das Zentrum fußläufig erreicht werden. Das Frühstück wurde draußen vor dem Zimmer serviert und war sehr gut.

Leider haben wir uns in unserem Zimmer nicht sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war nicht wirklich sauber und es roch extrem muffig, daher sind wir bereits eine Nacht früher abgereist.

Great location- easy to get to shops & restaurants. Also close to the walks for nine arches bridge & Little Adam’s peak. Great sized room with 2 big comfy beds with a choice of pillows. Great shower which was always hot. Breakfast was wonderful.

The bed was so comfortable, great pillows. Great location, quiet but still close enough to town and super close to the little Adams peak walk and 9arch walk. Good breakfast, they were wonderful organising everything we needed from washing to tuk tuks and car transport. Went above and beyond!

Liked everything for the price.
