Pool and terrance was great. Rooms are a nice size and very clean.

There were not towels provided and lighting was poor.

Comfortable and well-appointed accommodation from which to experience the southwestern part of the island of Mauritius.

Sparse kitchen facilities, but that was expected. More like a hotel room than a fully-equipped apartment.

Big room. Calm and quiet. Modern, very clean. Beautiful roof terrace. Nice size pool for a cooling dip. Location was perfect for trips to the National Park and le morne beach. Basic kitchen and good supermarket near. Recomend Aloha restaurant.

Not all lights worked around the place. It would be nice to have a couple more pans in the kitchen and maybe some basics like cooking oil/condiments.

Location was good and central. Pool was lovely and cool and pool on rooftop was lovely to sit in and star gaze. Great fast internet. 🛜

Given the fact that the accommodation was relative to the price there’s little to complain about BUT lots to recommend to look into. The bed is rock hard and we both had backache. The pillows are very firm and no softer options. There are no chairs to sit on in the room (so can only use the bed) only outside in the veranda. There is zero privacy. The curtains need to be fully drawn ie dark room or open for everyone to look into (no netting) The room next door can hear us talk and visa versa. The room next door came and told us when we’d arrived that they could hear our whole conversation. We literally had to whisper. The cutlery/ crockery is all centralized outside in a separate area and is very basic. No sharp knives etc. bring your own tea and coffee - no milk or sugar. There was one coffee sachet provided for each of us. The room isn’t cleaned every day. It was clean when we arrived and cleaned again when we left. The toilet needs attention as when you flush it, it keeps running or doesn’t fill at all. The day we left we went to shower at 9:30am and there was no hot water at all. Ended up having cold showers. The microwave is on the rooftop area only.(makes no sense) the decking around the rooftop pool is coming loose in areas. At night the stairs getting off the deck are very dark and you need to be extra careful going down. There’s a hornets nest in the side of the rooftop pool and we could see them going in and out between the wooden slats. The solar bottle lights aren’t functioning and the others die off after about an hour after sunset. Be mindful of the uneven surfaces as there are ramps and not stairs, and catch you off guard. The palm pot plants around the pool overcrowd the walk way. Staying for one or two nights is bearable, but not for longer.

Fabulous property in la Gaulette. Mathieu was very accommodating of our change of plan. Would highly recommend.

Staff is exteremely friendly and professional. Property was ery clean and comfortable. Mathieu is very helpful with many recommendations.

The room is a little stuffy since it has an en suite open shower. The rooftop jacuzzi is not a real jacuzzi with warm water and bubbles.

The pools are amazing the place is spotlessly clean

You can hear every single noise from the rooms next to you. If someone coughs you can hear it clearly, you can hear every single word being said there is no soundproofing. The toilet in the room also doesn’t have a door that closes properly and the walls don’t reach the ceiling so there is absolutely no privacy to use the bathroom. The area also has cockerels, dogs barking and cats fighting throughout the night

Very nice modern designed appartments, with the swimming pool just in front of the rooms. On the rooftop terasse also jacuzzi available. From the terrasse nice view on the ocean. The owner Mathieu is ready to help or recommend, if necessary.

For the beach is necessary to use taxi or car, it´s about 6km away.
