Monte do Serrado De Baixo

Gostámos da casa em si (design e decoração top) e do Monte, da simpatia da dona, dos animais, da tranquilidade, dos queijos servidos no pequeno almoço.

Os 15€ que pedem pelo pequeno almoço são overpriced tendo em conta a oferta e o facto de sentarem os hóspedes juntos na mesma mesa, não faz sentido (havendo outras mesas disponíveis). Ter no anúncio que a casa tem azeite/sal para cozinharmos e chegarmos lá e percebermos que se usarmos aqueles produtos, teremos que pagar, não faz sentido...para isso mais vale avisarem e assim quem entender, vai prevenido. Deixam nas regras de boas práticas, no alojamento, que se não lavarmos a loiça ou levarmos o lixo, iremos pagar uma taxa de limpeza, também não concordo muito, tendo em conta o valor cobrado pelo alojamento. A funcionária que nos recebeu no 1º dia também não foi a mais "acolhedora".. Em suma, acho que este Monte tem muito potencial e ainda alguma margem de progressão.

Os funcionários super simpáticos e um ambiente acolhedor. Os animais são amorosos. E a quinta é super sossegada, perfeito para relaxar.

No geral gostei de tudo , mas particularmente da super simpatia da Sra. Dina e claro da cookie e da papoila !

The place was recommended to us by our friends and we often getaway to Alentejo for a weekend, so we tried various Quintas, and this was clean and neat, rennovated, the room was comfortable, the shower was good.

What spoilt the holidays is the service, meaning no service. We met 3 different staff members, the girl who was on duty Monday morning at breakfast was the nicest and friendliest, other staff was abrupt, not welcoming. We felt that we need to drag any information out from them: about breakfast or dinner; the breakfast we had to ask for everything, like for 3 people they served one yogurt and 1 orange juice, and we had to ask “can we have one more please?” And then 1 portion of eggs , we shared and didn’t ask for more. But for nearly 40€ for breakfast it was very poor. We own a breakfast cafe and also Airbnb and work in hospitality for many years, may mistakes can be understandable but not the lack of service which makes you come back. At the check-in we were asked for deposit 100€ in cash, which was inconvenient and was not mentioned few days before our arrival and the we had to list all the cups & spoons in the room. We are sorry if you previously had a bad experience but this really spoils the experience from your next customers. Maybe just get your staff to be doing the check before and after arrival silently. It’s a shame we couldn’t get any information about the car barn because my husband comes from the British racing family and he would love to know at least something about the owners but the team couldn’t help us. The pool was rather dirty. It was a top-up rather than a problem.
