Beautiful property and so peaceful! Would love to come back! The room was spacious and comfortable. Our first dinner was superb from starters to desserts. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. The second dinner however was ok and took a while due to only one lady serving. She probably could have used some help.

Not much to dislike! Breakfast could use a bit more variety but that’s more a suggestion.

Laid back, peaceful, friendly staff, fantastic pool, handy location for beaches and exploring the area. Loved the donkeys and ostriches

The mezzanine bedroom got quite hot even with the fan on full speed.

It was exactly what you expected. Located in the middle of the country side, quiet and in very good conditions.

Everything was great. A small suggestion would be to install insect screen for the bathroom window so you could leave it open without getting the bathroom full of insect in the night.

Beautiful property and very well kept. Very quiet, surrounded by nature. A little heaven! A wide range of services offered including pool and sauna. They also have animals like two ostriches. Lots of open space with nature all around. It was more than just a place to stay. It felt being at home. Resembles nothing like a comercial hotel. Nice dinning area for breakfasts and dinners in a natural setting, they also have family or lounging area to sit and relax or play games. You need to preorder your breakfast the night before so there is no extra waste of food, concept we really appreciated. Everything was fresh and brought to the table on a tray. Room was very spacious, basic furniture but authentic and comfortable. You can see the emphasis on connecting to nature and simplicity. Bathroom had all necessary amenities except plastic and unnecessary stuff, which was nice to see. They did have electric mosquito repellents in the rooms. Only comment I would make is need for an anti-slip mat for the shower. Shower floor gets slippery when wet. Also I am not sure how hot it gets if going in summer months as the rooms have no AC or fans. Check with property. We didn’t need it as the weather was still cool.

Need for a fan for getting some air flow inside the room as we didn’t want to open windows as well as for those not used to sleeping in complete silence, it is a great white noise source 😁. Plus anti-slip mat for the shower

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location is absolutely stunning — very quiet and peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel very welcome and were always available to assist with anything we needed. A special mention must go to the dinner, prepared by Chef Katarina. It was absolutely delicious — every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Definitely recommended.

The welcome tour and complimentary afternoon tea enjoyed in the sunshine outside our room. The rural environment induces a calmness. The evening meal was excellent value and the staff very helpful. The proximity to Praia da Samoqueira, a really beautiful beach.

Everything is well thought to make you feel good, enjoy nature around, watch the animals, relax in the swimming pool, notice the gorgeous design, details and quality of materials used. It's simply one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The easiest recommendation really!
