very nice host! help with any problem and trying to make your stay even more comfortable. perfect location close to food city, good cafes and the beach. very fast internet, convenient for working

mosquitoes! there are a lot of them on the territory, bring mosquito spray. also, sometimes it is loud outside

This Hostel/rest/guesthouse is owned and run by a very nice Sri Lankan family! They are super welcoming and helpful. They gave many tips and were always available. There were also local workers who were really nice. The room was big and clean with AC. There are not so many rooms, so it’s a calm and quiet place. Not very social with other guests, but we spent a lot of time with one of the hosts, Johan. The breakfast was included and very nice! We even got a juice:) Also good location in Merissa. Close to everything we needed.

When ordering food there is some waiting, so you should have time to order and wait. If you are planning to go out in the morning, tell the staff the evening before at what time you want breakfast.

we booked for 3 nights and extended to 7. location is good, away from the main road and 3mins to the beach. shops abailable next door. the hosts are fabolous and went out of their way to give us a great stay! breakfast is excellent and johan‘s (one othe hosts) cocktails are superb! healthy foodoptions are abailable. wifi is good and the room was huge. would come again for sure!

The staff was helpful and wanted us to have a good stay at their place. They were also kind and helped us with our Yala safari and whale watching. The room was also great.

The staff is really nice, especially Johan goes above and beyond to attend to your needs. Room was very spacious.

Breakfast was very simple but ok (toast with butter and jam and egg), the AC is directed towards the bed and we couldn’t control it’s swing, there were long power cuts in whole of Mirissa during our stay where just a candle would have been an extra service.
