Casa do Mar - Nazaré Big Wave Spotter House

Lovely host, very relaxed clean organised house.

I liked the place; the vibe, the decoration. It was clean and comfortable.

Someone pulled on our bedroom door during the night, not sure if they had the wrong room or else.

We loved the feeling of staying at home. They have a lovely, shared kitchen with a refrigerator that can be use. The beds were cozy and Tina was so sweet! We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Nazare.

De très belles et grandes chambres, hygiène est au top. Grande cuisine avec terrasse, grande salle de bain. Vous êtes accueilli par Tina, c'est une femme serviable et très gentille qui est là pour vous. Je reviendrai avec plaisir parce que j'ai été bien accueilli. The location of this apartment in Sitio is simply unbeatable. If you are visiting Nazaré, it couldn't be situated any better: The Waves: The famous big waves (Praia do Norte) are just a short walk away. If you are lucky to have big waves. Even without waves it is beautiful to go to the lighthouse Convenience: The funicular (funicular) down to Nazaré beach is only a few steps from the front door. Comfort: The room was a pleasant size, and sharing the bathroom with only one other room worked out perfectly and was never an issue. Cleanliness: The owner is very dedicated to keeping everything spotless. Kitchen Balcony: Having a balcony attached to the kitchen is a fantastic bonus and a great place to relax. Conclusion: A top choice for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Sitio with easy access to everything Nazaré has to offer.

Cons: Interior vs. Photos: The decor looks much more stylish in the videos and photos than it is in reality; it’s actually quite rustic. Did not meet expectations Heating Issues: The small radiator in the room is completely underpowered for chilly or cold days. We were unfortunately far too cold during our stay. Cramped Kitchen: While the kitchen is well-equipped, it is too small for three parties. Even with just two groups, it feels very tight. Value for Money: For a room with a shared bathroom, the price is at the absolute upper limit for Portugal. This might be typical for Nazaré’s popularity, but it felt expensive for what was offered.
