Pipeline Hostel

Great vibes! It's a really great place right by the beach and the owner is super cool. The restaurant right downstairs has great food and the staff are chill af. It's a great hub for a lot of really cool people. Everyone we met was awesome and made it a great experience! Plus they had cats and a dog!

Don't expect luxury, since that's not what you're paying for. I would reccomend bringing bug spray.

:( Not very clean, super Basic, dorm is a bit loud and you cannot close the door, run by volunteers (prefer it when Mexicans get job opportunities instead of travelers) :) Location is amazing, nice terraza, chilled vibes, no air condition so it’s Not as freezing as the other Hostels at night :)

The room had a musty smell, it was noisy throughout the night, and unfortunately, I woke up with bedbug bites.

The location really is the best part of the hostel; right on the beach and in the middle of a lively nightlife. For being pretty much all open-air, the hostel was clean, including the bathrooms. Lots of the other residents seemed to really enjoy hanging out with each other - I was only there two nights and didn't make friends due to my completely booked itinerary.

Perfect if you want to experience the nightlife - you can hear everything on the streets and whatever activities the other residents are up to. Unfortunately, this meant the hostel didn't get quiet until 3 or 4 in the morning. Additionally, the other residents were very much into recreational activities. Very reminiscent of a frat house.

The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful, very accommodating. Cool surf shack kind of vibe, don’t expect anything fancy. Great location for surfers also being right on Zicatella. Would recommend if you want to base yourself at Zicatella!

The kitchen is pretty small so it can be a wait for cooking
