They picked me up from the train station for free. The internet was the fastest I experienced in Mexico - they had a Starlink connection. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. Although I don't speak Spanish they were helpful in communicating through Google Translate. The location is next to a large grocery store. Even leaving was on a positive note: I indicated I was going to walk to the train station, was given a bottle of water for the walk, and was surprised by a free lift after I was 5m down the road. Would definitely recommend. PS: this was the highlight of my Copper Canyon trip. Lots of good hiking. My favorite thing was just exploring, following random foot trails to amazing lookouts.

The hotel is around a 1km walk into town.

We enjoyed our stay here and especially appreciated the free coffee and tea + microwave available for guests. We took the typical tour around the area visiting many different locations with Alejandro, and it was a nice experience. Location wise it's a block away from the bus station and two from the train station, also not far from the central plaza and good restaurants.

The shower was low and my partner, being tall, struggled to use it. Also Alejandro was supposed to give me back 100 pesos in change after I paid for our tour and didn't have the exact amount, and he never did.

Central, cosy upper room with a welcome gas heater. Really appreciated the availability of hot tea in the central area.
