This hotel offers an amazing view of Badulla. The owner and his team were incredibly friendly. The room was clean, and the rooftop restaurant provided a 360-degree view. Enjoying coffee with such a beautiful backdrop was a highlight of our one-night stay. It was definitely worth it.

I guess the hotel has a good location and there was no drama with the owners.

The room I received had a giant mold stain all over the wall and in general it seemed very used and uncleaned. There were stains everywhere and the bathroom looked uncomfortable. I have requested to have it dealt with and I was given a temporary room for the night, which had no mold stains but also had other stains and was in a similar inadequate condition. For example you can tell by looking at the shower head that noone really cleaned it in months. I have then decided to continue my journey, since the temporary room was not free to stay in further and I did not feel good at this hotel (in terms of cleanliness). They have also cancelled my Booking listing, making it look like I'm not staying there (even though I paid for it and did stay 1 night) - I guess for fear of receiving bad review, but Booking.com has re-instated my listing and allowed me to review.

Simple accommodation with a communal balcony view of the city. Some rooms have their own balcony.

Beautiful location with spectacular views in the morning. Free coffee, and super sweet staff who helped me order food (and a beer!) for local prices. Absolute win after a 12 hour train ride.
