wifi is awesome, they have a starlink connection

the only bad thing at the hostel was the italian girl at the reception, very rude, I would recommend not to let her interact with guests

privacy bed curtains and big lockers are nice.

Typical hippie hostel .. woke up, NO water, tiny clothes line for 15 people, 1 toilet for 10 people, very cramped bed area, uneven floors, people sleeping to noon, 2 power outlets for "co working" area .. bring a flashlight and alarm clock, no windows, totally dark bed area

The hostel is less then a minute from beach and also less then a minute from the center so it's located very good, the internet was very fast and stable and the dorm room has ac which is really helpful in those weather conditions

The toilets and shower were very basic and not super clean. It was not horrible but could definitely be better. But I know they are working on that. I would have also liked more places to chill. There are a lot of tables to work but not that many comfortable places to hang out

Loved the great AC in the dorm, and the privacy curtains and lockers. The dorm looks amazing because the "nightlight " (before you turn on the regular room light) is a black light. It makes the nice paintings on the wall glow! I thought it was very clever. The 2 hammocks were nice.

It could use more comfy chairs and places to hang out. If the 2 hammocks were in use, the wooden benches just weren't that comfy. But fine if you're working on your laptop I guess.

Location was nice. Close to the beach.

I hate the situation where stuff treats you like you are not exist. There is no any social interaction. If social atmosphere is that what are you looking for I definitely not recommend this place.

I loved my stay here. I was here for 8 days and had a really positive experience. All of the staff are so wonderful, accommodating, friendly and helpful. It’s definitely a little rustic, but so are most hostels! Super great location. Zipolite is amazing. Highly recommend. Also the dorms are super dark so great for sleeping. Lots of space for stuff.

The hostel was furnished with care, although upkeep/cleanliness was an issue for part of my stay.

I know Zipolite is probably safe, but the hostel doesn’t even have a real front door. Anybody could walk into the dorms from the street, at any time of the day. Cleanliness also was not great.
