Castelul Stirbey

What a treat, to stay in such a special building! Location was excellent, parking was good, the woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful, the room was a good size with a big bed and the bathroom was nice. The communal area was huge and because there were no other guests, it felt like an extension of our room. We enjoyed visiting the museum (the apartment was at the top of the building) and there are lots of restaurants etc close by, plus the cable car. Be aware that because it's in the roof, there are only small dormer windows high up.

We knew in advance - but getting two big suitcases up a narrow spiral staircase was tough. We are both tall so found the sloping roof in our bedroom a bit of a pain. No bottle opener in the kitchen!

It was interesting to stay in an actual castle! It was nice to also have access to a common kitchenette/sitting area. Rooms were a good size.

It would be good to be aware that there is a 3-story, spiral staircase to climb with your items, especially if you are elderly or disabled.

The location was very good, and the free entry museum was a nice perk.

The water from the shower was all over the bathroom, because the shower did not have a door glass and the shower tub was not sealed properly close to the wall. There was no hairy dryer in the room or in the common living room/kitchen.

Să dormi, măcar o seară și o seară într-un spațiu precum Castelul Știrbey, este un privilegiu în sine.

Usile din termopan, nu mi-au plăcut, mi se pare ca nu se potrivesc cu istoria locului, dar înțeleg că e o soluție de compromis calitate/preț.

- Aproape de centru - Clădirea este una deosebită, la parter este muzeu - Camerele sunt obișnuite - Curat - Personal amabil.

Camerele sunt la mansardă, o persoană în vârstă ar avea dificultăți de a urca, scara este una în spirală și foarte îngustă.
