Pensiunea Valea Gepisului

The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, and very comfortable, with large flat-screen TVs, free WI-FI and cozy beds. The bathroom had free toiletries, which was a nice touch. We appreciated the shared terrace with our room and also enjoyed the ping-pong table on site. Some members of the staff, possibly the owners or managers, were polite and helpful.

Although the rooms were clean when we arrived, there was no housekeeping during our stay — no towel changes, trash removal, or room cleaning. Breakfast, which was supposed to start at 8 AM, was often still being set up at that time, and issues like a broken coffee machine, no milk, or food items arriving late were daily occurrences. Hot dishes like omelets and eggs were served without any way to keep them warm. The advertised outdoor swimming pool was dry and the entire area was closed off, which was disappointing. While dinner was included, it only allowed for a choice between three fixed options, and the portions were modest — drinks were not included, not even water. Lastly, some staff members could have been more welcoming.

The location is great, by the forest and you can hear the birds chirping. The food was good (Swedish buffet in the morning ) and for dinner you had three choices, for both , carnivores and vegetarian . The room was big, cozy . The bathroom was ok , as well. The owner was very nice and polite , and helped us with a car problem .

The fact that our bathroom trash was not taken away, every day .
