really cool place with a kitchen / bar downstairs. perfect for hiking / ski touring, but also very close to the ski lifts. the food is phenomenal!

we could hear people talk in the next room. bathrooms can get crowded when the place is running close to its capacity

Excellent location, lovely hotel with a beautiful minimalistic style, kind and welcoming owner. The food was really good, though the choice was not very large. The temperature was good in both the room and the whole building, even for our 7 months baby. And the matrasses in the beds were very-very comfortable, great quality. There is a skialp and winter hiking equipment rental at the hotel, which is very useful. There is also free parking. We loved our stay here, will definitely be back.

A small kitchen for the guests would be nice. There was a kettle and a fridge in the corridor, but we missed a microwave oven to warm the babyfood. On Saturday morning the food choice at breakfast was limited, as they did not do the whole variety for a limited number of guests. The door of our room did not close properly, only if closed with key.

Highly recommended accommodation for skiers and hikers for a very good price. I had a wonderful stay at Chata Zázvor! The location was peaceful, the room was cozy, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owner was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. He prepared me breakfast as I had to leave the accommodation early in the morning and the kitchen staff has not arrived yet. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming escape in Slovakia.
