The owner was lovely and really helpful - we were walking Adam’s Peak and he came to see us off at 11pm. There was a tea and coffee station with biscuits that guests could help themselves to, which was a really nice touch, and the first place we found had this in Sri Lanka. Location was great, very short walk into town - although steep hill to get to.

Room didn’t have a window. Just a false curtain hung up, so there was no ventilation.

Lovely host, very helpful and welcoming. Felt at home. I could have spent more time there for sure! I'll be back

It was the best homestay in Sri Lanka! - Good location - very close to the railway station - Very clean - New, clean and comfortable bathroom - Kind owner - And the best thing - it has a kitchen so you can prepare breakfast and tea/ coffee. You rarely have the access to the kitchen in Sri Lanka so it was great!

Nothing - it was perfect.

The building is lovely and the facilities inside the communal area are comfortable.

There was no-one at the property to meet me and the gate was locked. No one responded to my 4 messages and as it was a monsoon, I was not happy being stood outside for 30 minutes with my back pack in the torrential rain.

Very cosy old family home turned into a guesthouse. The host Kiruba was kind and helpful. He made sure everything was super clean and cost for our arrival. Also helped us with a a nice driver to Adam’s peak the day after.

The photos don’t do this place justice! The owner has thought of everything for a comfortable stay, there’s a lovely view overlooking the city from the patio, and everything feels recently renovated. I really appreciate the cookies, drinking water, tea, and coffee. Beds are comfortable with an extra blanket in the room just in case.

Location close to railway station and city center. Host can arrange transport (Adams Peak)

Room has no ventilation, so it gets very mouldy once you take a shower. This is more like an airbnb with common area so there are other people but you are not told whether they are guests or just random people hanging around. People were ringing the doorbell in the middle of the night.

The place is very beautiful and clean. Theres a little holiday swing with a view and the bathroom has a proper shower with sliding doors! First one I've seen in Sri Lanka 😁 The owner Kiruba is very kind and gives you good advice. He makes sure, you're comfortable all the time. You even receive a free bottle of water, there's tea and coffee for free and free drinking water. The bed was also very comfortable. I can recommend his holiday home to everyone!
