The Cave - Adults Only

Unser Zimmer war in einer Wohnung in einer grossen Wohnsiedlung. Die Wohnung teilten wir uns mit zwei weiteren Zimmern, wobei wir von unseren „Mitbewohnern“ nicht viel mitbekommen haben. In der Siedlung gibt es diverse Restaurants, ein Cafe, Shops und Laundry-Services. Ins Zentrum von Tanah Rata hat man zu Fuss ca. 10 Minuten. Auch die Busstation ist in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Das Zimmer war hell und sauber.

We had a lovely stay, Cha Ren was very welcoming and made sure that we knew where to go to get the best out of the area. We didn’t get sent to any tourist traps! Real authentic living experience. The place is very clean and has decent amenities if you chose to use them

El alojamiento tiene muy buenas instalaciones fue muy fácil todo, la pieza con baño privado estuvo excelente . La cama podría ser un poco dura pero no sentimos nada en verdad, tienes todo lo necesario abajo en el barrio . Tuvimos excelente wifi, agua caliente , una TV con YouTube . Recomendado 100%

La ubicación está un poco lejos del “centro” pero si no te da pereza caminar 10/15 minutos vas a encontrar un excelente alojamiento tranquilo y con muy buena relación precio/calidad.

Si dorme bene anche senza condizionatore, eravamo soli nell'appartamento,, abbiamo preso stanza con toilette privata. Si stava bene, ci hanno aiutato con riservazione tour che ci hanno prelevato all'ostello. Molto bello il tour

The owner is excellent, she shared a lot of information with us about things to do in the Cameron Highlands and wasn't at all pushy trying to sell tours, just gave us lots of options and allowed us to contact her if we decided on something. We enjoyed staying in an apartment even though it is shared, as there weren't many other guests and luckily we weren't disturbed by noise. The restaurants around the area are really good and not at all touristy like the center of town, some won't like the location at all but we did.

Although the apartment was nice, the bed was probably the worst we've had in 6 weeks of travelling so far, we had plenty of hard beds in Thailand but this was next level, with a small blanket that barely covered the two of us. It was also freezing when we were there so a thicker blanket would have been helpful, or an extra one (there was an extra very thin blanket) . Finally, as I mentioned it was freezing and during our 3 days there the weather was awful, the wind was so loud (we were on the 8th floor) that we couldn't sleep the first night, even with earplugs. The doors and windows were rattling all night long.
