Mountain View Ceahlau

Excellent conditions. Everything was exactly as described. It is an excellent place to stay if you want to do trekking or simply relax in the nature.

In the Ceahlau/Durau area there aren't many decent places for accomodation and this new one is the best by dar. It shows it has been built with quality materials, looking at the furniture, carpet etc. The staff is warm and helpfull and the location is quiet and you can see the montains and the lake. You can have breakfast and even eat at their restaurant if you like. It's definately a place to revisit.

The view was butiful. The staff was nice. The room was clean and spacious

The staff and the owner, the place looks amazing, quality furniture, comfy beds, you could reach the lake through a 200m forest road next to the villa. You could take whatever refreshments you needed from downstairs yourself whenever needed. Amazing sky view at night from the yard! The owner mentioned having a boat we could use to go on the lake but in the end we skipped the 'trip'.

No chef available when we stayed, probably because it was the end of the summer season, so we could only eat breakfast at the location, which was good but we saw the reviews about the excellent food and we were looking forward to eating dinner here. The rooms don't have fridges but you're invited to leave anything you might need cooled in the cooler available downstairs. This is not really about the place but the location: The closest place to eat closes at 18:00 so you'll have to go to durau for dinner, which was also fine, food is great in the area.
