Beautiful home facing the beach. Great for watching sunsets. Attentive security (a bit overbearing to the guests) and wonderful cleaning staff, who explained everything we needed to know.

Home sits on top of a hill which was a bit more challenging for the older guests.

The guard who waited for us, what's incredible with his service. He was super helpful, respectful and made us feel welcomed.

The house being an elevated property, you need to go a few steps. Nothing major.

I stayed at Casa Ruth in San Juan del Sur for one night (Nov 22 – Nov 23). The price was excellent, the location was very convenient, and the overall value exceeded expectations. One of the biggest positives is the amount of space. There’s plenty of room, which makes this a great option for families or larger groups. The amenities were solid, and for the price point, you really get more than expected—definitely good value for the money. There are a couple of minor quirks, and a few things could benefit from updates, but nothing that negatively impacted the stay. Considering the space, location, and affordability, it’s hard to beat. As someone who travels frequently and documents stays under Travel With Glen, I found Casa Ruth to be a practical, budget-friendly choice for travelers who prioritize space and location over luxury. Overall, a very good option for families or groups looking for value in San Juan del Sur.

There really isn’t much to point out in terms of negatives. Considering the price, this place offers excellent value. If you’re looking for a luxury-style property, you would need to choose a different accommodation at a higher price point. From a budget-friendly perspective, there were no significant issues worth mentioning. The only possible improvement would be clearer location identification. The property was a little challenging to find at first due to limited signage and the lack of a visible name or number. Once the location was found, however, everything was smooth and there were no further issues.

That we lost.1/2.of our time looking for the location, there was.missleafing information, we almost got us another place to stay because the your casa Ruth address took us somewhere else, there was not real address, we walked all over san Juan to find it. It needs signing.
