Die Inhaberin ist super nett und erklärt alles ausgiebig. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es ist klein und familiär, wir werden bestimmt noch mal wieder kommen. Danke für die schöne Zeit

Small, cozy house, very clean, with a lovely terrace behind. Car and bike parking available, as well as a dedicated space for drying diving equipment. Very nce hosts.

There is no coffee machine, although it appears in the amenities.

We stayed as a family of four in the beach house. Scharendijke is lovely and close (by car or bike) to some of Zeeland’s finest beaches. Also, there are a few nice places to eat in the village. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The owner was very kind. The shared shower room and the shared toilet were always very clean as well. There’s free parking and the opportunity to recharge an electric car nearby.

This is minor, but since I always find reviews the most helpful when booking a place, I try to be as exact as possible. When booking this place, think hostel not condo or hotel. You’ll get linen, but you have to make the beds yourself. There are four rooms in the beach house that sleep 16 people in total. However, there are only two toilets, one for the ladies, one for the gents. In all fairness, that was never a problem during our stay, I only had to wait for the loo when my kid was using it. There are four private shower stalls, so that was great. One think I could have known had I read the description properly: there are no kitchen facilities. There’s a mini fridge in the room and a hot kettle (plus disposable cups), but no plates, no cutlery. This is not a room for breakfast. Again, it is a lovely, clean place, we felt welcome and safe.
