Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri

Beautiful room in a very nice hotel in a stunning setting. Staff were great. Breakfast buffet was terrific. On-line staff were very helpful. All terrific.

Vangsgaarden is a beautiful property with an absolutely stunning views. I had heard a lot of good things about Aurland but it is incredibly more picturesque than what I had imagined. Stegastein is pretty but if one wants to spare the insane cost involved, view from Vangsgaarden and surrounding area is simply breathtaking.

For Vangsgaarden and Aurland, this box shouldn't be there😀

Hotel très bien situé Chambre lumineuse Logement ancien , rustique mais confortable Autant il est très bien isolé de l’extérieur ( le vent s’est bien levé le soir et je n entendais plus rien une fois les fenêtres fermées)’, Autant l’isolation phonique intérieure est quasi nulle, j’ai entendu toute la nuit la tv de la chambre d’à côté jusqu'à 4h du matin( il avait pourtant baissé le son le semble -il) Café à disposition à la réception Restaurant à côté simple et bon avec belle vue de la terrasse couverte ( prix cohérent avec la moyenne[ élevé pour un français])

Personne à la réception le matin, on laisse la clé dans un panier. Au restaurant, le service se fait au bar ( c’est à dire que quand on a choisi, on se leve, on rentre dans le restaurant, on commande et on paye AVANT d’avoir mangé). Du coup peu d’échange avec le personnel qui ne vient qu’apporter les plats et il faut espérer que ce soit bon...

Loved the old charm and very peaceful. Breakfast was very good and friendly staff.

Room was on small side but then it is an old building.

Bokat för tre personer. Extra rummet på övervåningen svårt för äldre med takhöjd och trappa och nattligt toalettbesök.

Außergewöhnliches Hotel Ambiente. Übernachten im Museum 😀
