Super frokost. Bordet var dekket med alt man kan ønske seg. Bare å sette seg ned å nyte frokosten.

I loved staying at this guest house. It is in a good location a short walk away from a swimming beach, a small interesting town center and a nice pub. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional, made from local products some from the garden, with lots of variety and attention to detail with lots of dedication. There were home made scones, a ginger plum shot from the garden. The house itself is full of character, its a bit like staying in a museum. There is a wonderful outdoor seating area, a beautiful garden. You get a flavour of how Norwegians used to live. Why stay in a soulless boxy hotel when there are options like this?

The location gave us an authentic experience of going back in time! I felt like visiting my old grandparents house from when I was young (long time ago 🤣)… Both the building, furniture and other details added to this great experience. The fact that the staff was extremely supporting and willing to share the actual history of the place made it even better. Close proximity to public beach made it easy to go swimming, both in the morning and the evening / night. We have visited the location before, and will be back! It is important that we maintain these «glimpses of the past» where we can relax in a rather disturbing world! Thanks!

Charming house conveniently locted in calm surroundings woth wonderful view.

I fell in love with the property immediately with the antiques and warm farmhouse feel. It had all the amenities and was up-to-date in every way including reliable wi-fi. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great sleep. The breakfast was amazing with all of the wonderfully fresh, hand-prepared selections and the lovely note card to start the day positively! The outdoor lounge area had beautiful views and inviting lights as night set in. Margarete was the kindest person and full of interesting information as well as an amazing host, baker and chef. I wish I could have stayed much longer!

That I only booked one night. So wish I'd booked many more nights.

A nice quiet hotel near the city. Super friendly management. What stands out is the great breakfast.
