Everything :) it's the 3rd time we come here. I love the place, the staff super kind, the food, the pool, the rooms.

The large offering from garden to pool, restaurant and so many other services makes it an ideal place for a relaxed holiday.

The Personel was not quite inviting, meaning it looked as if they didn’t Enjoy being there.

A hidden gem

This beautiful old villa seizes you with its gorgeous atmosphere - a grand piano, crafted wooden furniture in the living room and original porcelain, little decor details, beautiful window views to the green hills on one side and the orchard on the other where our kid was taking some delicious apples directly from the tree. There is a little collection of old cars, a pool our kid absolutely enjoyed and a possibility to ride horses. The room was light, super clean, with everything needed. The vila is located almost on the main road (easy to get), concurrently it is very silent and nothing disturbs you from enjoying the rest. There is a good collection of tea in the lobby and coffee maker for those who wake up before the restaurant is opened. The restaurant offers good food, the breakfast was generous.

Being a magnetic place itself with some fascinating ideas behind, the overall impression gets really spoiled because of the employees. First, no one was approaching us for check-in, even after several requests. Instead of finding a solution, the available staff was just complaining how tired and busy they were. The place has so much to offer, although no info about it was provided. In addition, it would be also useful for the guests to know that some premises are not for public access, this would helped us not to ruin someone's privacy. The worse part was with the restaurant. The food is good, but the service is awful. The waiters looked annoyed and complained how understaffed and busy they are, concurrently having time for smoking in front and even discussing the clients. We had to wait for 1.5h (!) for our soup - importantly - during the hour when the restaurant was not crowded at all. We asked to pay for accommodation and meals at the end, upon our check-out - the meals were missing in the final price, our waiter simply forgot about the bill (bad for the owners if this happens on the regular basis). There was one lady at the restaurant who managed to navigate absolutely everything, but when she was off, it was an absolute mess. The owners are passionate about this place, one can really feel it from a small talk, but the employees have to be better motivated and trained for their job.

The room was very nice. Also the little apple garden and overall surroundings.

Unfortunately the staff didn’t live up to the standards of the hotel. I don’t know if they had a shortage of staff when we were there, but everything took time - check in, getting menus, ordering, getting the check and so on. Also, when you have so much to offer in form of activities, both adventure and sauna/hot tub and such, but the staff doesn’t mention anything it just feels lazy.
